The gardens at The Blue Parrot feature a wide variety of tropical plantings, and include many native species. You will notice that The Blue Parrot is frequented by many of the island's inhabitants--among them, Gopher Tortoises, White Egret, Iquana, White Ibis, and others--all drawn by our lush natural surroundings.

Whether you sit awhile on the lower deck, surrounded by exotic Ginger Plants and Christmas Palms waiting for your steaks to grill, or enjoy the hot tub, framed by Palm trees, we are sure you will enjoy the ambience created by our landscape visionary, Barry.

We are particularly proud of Barry's irrigation system which, unlike traditional sprinkler systems which use up a great deal of water, are designed to give water where needed, on a timed basis, and so conserve water, our precious island resource.
